Desde sus inicios, 1986, el Colegio Superior de Lomas dio respuesta a su comunidad con una propuesta pedagógica original que continúa hasta el día de hoy con una fuerte impronta en la solidez académica, la educación bilingüe y el desarrollo del deporte como ejes formativos.

Nació como Jardín maternal y de infantes. Prontamente se incorporó la educación primaria completándose todos los cursos y en 1992 se abrió la educación secundaria.

Desde los comienzos la propuesta educativa se caracterizó por un estilo singular, integral con apertura a las características personales de cada alumno.

Los equipos docentes, de gran profesionalismo, tienen como meta no sólo la instrucción sino la formación integral de sus alumnos.

Se considera la tarea docente como espacio de compromiso participativo respetando la autonomía de gestión en el marco normativo. Fomentamos la constitución de equipos de trabajo docente con el ejercicio de actitudes responsables, reflexivas, críticas y comprometidas .Aseguramos para ello, la capacitación permanente de todo nuestro personal a fin de acrecentar el desarrollo profesional de sus miembros.

Hoy como ayer continuamos comprometidos con quienes confían en nosotros, con los docentes y con las familias que integran nuestra comunidad educativa.

Aspiramos a que nuestros egresados sepan, ser, hacer, valorar y actuar y se integren al mundo de la cultura, la ciencia, la técnica, el arte, el deporte, la política desde una sólida formación bilingüe, ambientalista y fraterna.

En relación con la comunidad de padres, el Colegio sostiene que acompaña la educación familiar y se propicia la comunicación, el diálogo que enriquece la propuesta pedagógica. Por lo tanto se fomentan la constitución de espacios de participación y articulación de una labor compartida entre la institución educativa y las familias.
